X-59: Superior Seed for a Superior Grain

X-59 is the Superior Seed

We pride ourselves knowing our industrial hemp cultivar X-59 possess a natural, NON-GMO, genome which bests our competition! Not only does X-59 have the sweet nutty flavor sought after by consumers, but as part of Minnesota's industrial hemp pilot program, the University of Minnesota has determined that Legacy Hemp's X-59 seed cultivar is consistently one of the highest yielding hemp grains. This determination was derived after testing 11 of the highest hemp oil-seed cultivars on the market. According to this Minnesota study, X-59 averages between 1000 and 1400 lb per acre with 600lb per acre being profitable! Talk about bang for your buck!

X-59 is High in Nutritional Density

Industrial hemp grain is rich in many nutrients including essential fatty acids, vitamins, and protein. Essential fatty acids are necessary for healthy brain, heart, and immune health, but are not produce naturally by the body. Interestingly, hemp grain contains a ratio of these omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids that match the ratio of the body's needs! Hemp grain also has a high complete protein profile containing all 20 amino acids that rivals that of even soy. One of these amino acids, arginine, rich in hemp grain, has been shown to be linked to a decreased risk of heart disease! But that is not all, hemp grain is also rich in vitamin E, phosphorous, iron, zinc, calcium, sulfur, potassium, and magnesium! Even more, X-59 grain boasts a superb shatter resistance ideal for industrial applications.
